About Living Stone Network
Built for players and families who want something more than just a server.
What Is Living Stone Network?
Living Stone Network is a Christian Minecraft server network built for players and families who want a better place to build, explore, and belong. We are a community — not a program, not a religious institution, and not an official Minecraft product.
The network is built around the idea that a game community can reflect genuine Christian values: kindness, honesty, patience, forgiveness, stewardship, and love for neighbors. We don't force spiritual language into every moment of play. We simply try to build the kind of place where those values are lived out naturally, day by day, block by block.
Why Does It Exist?
Online gaming communities — even in a game as generally accessible as Minecraft — can be toxic, exhausting, and unsafe, especially for younger players and families. Living Stone Network exists because we believe it doesn't have to be that way.
There are players and families who are looking for exactly this: a community where they can play, build, and connect without the noise and hostility that often comes with multiplayer gaming. We wanted to build that place and open the door.
What Does "Living Stone" Mean?
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Peter 2:5, KJV
The image in Scripture is of individual stones — ordinary, imperfect, each one distinct — being built together into something greater than any one of them alone.
In Minecraft, you build great things one block at a time. In community, you build something meaningful one person, one friendship, one act of fellowship at a time. That parallel is at the heart of this network's identity.
We are not the foundation. Christ is. We are the stones — many and varied — built together by grace into a spiritual house. That is the name. That is the vision.
Who Is This For?
Living Stone Network is for players and families who want a Christ-centered, family-safe Minecraft experience. That includes:
- Christian families looking for a safe multiplayer server for their children
- Adult players who want a clean, drama-free survival community
- Players curious about faith who want a welcoming, non-judgmental environment
- Builders, survivors, explorers, and community members of all play styles
- Players of any background willing to honor the community covenant
You don't have to be a Christian to play here. You do have to respect a Christian community culture and abide by the community covenant.
What We Are Not
Living Stone Network is not a replacement for your local church or Christian community. Games and fellowship are good things, but they are not substitutes for the church, Scripture, and the sacramental life of faith.
We are also not a ministry organization. We do not offer spiritual counsel or act as a religious authority. We are a gaming community that tries to live by Christian values in how we play, moderate, and build together.
Our foundation is Christ. Our community is built one living stone at a time.
A Note on Affiliation
Living Stone Network is an independent, community-operated server network. We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or the official Minecraft brand in any way. This site and all associated materials are original and community-owned.
